FINAL RESULTS

Apr. 21, 2025, TWIN LAKE, MI – The Grand Rapids Community College men's golf team continued its strong spring season with a second-place finish at the Muskegon Community College Invitational on Monday, held at Stonegate Golf Club. The Raiders posted a team score of 318, narrowly finishing behind Montcalm Community College, which claimed the team title with a 314.

This marks GRCC's second runner-up finish in it's past three events, and their sixth straight top-five showing.

Sophomore Colin Beckett once again led the Raiders, firing a 3-over-par 75 to place third out of the 66 golfers in the field. The performance was Beckett's fifth top-five finish in six events this season, further establishing him as one of the premier players in the conference.

Freshman Owen Rosendall turned in his best round of the season with a 77, tying for fourth place overall. Parker Williamson added a solid 79 to finish tied for ninth, while Trevor Hobbs and Zach Steers each carded 82s, tying for 16th place. Dario Bonazzi followed with an 84 (28th), and both Evan Kaiser and Zach Vaandrager rounded out the lineup with 86s, tied for 34th.

The Raiders won't have to wait long for their next challenge, as they travel to Island Hills Golf Club in Centreville for the Glen Oaks Community College Invitational tomorrow.
