Nov. 17, 2023, GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Aaliyah Ratliff's game-high 27 points for the Grand Rapids Community College women's basketball team not enough in an 85-48 loss to Illinois Central College on Friday.

In the later game, the men's basketball team dropped an 89-72 decision to former conference rival Kellogg Community College.

Ratliff scored her 27 on 10 of 21 from the field, three of nine from three point range and four of four from the charity stripe. She also had two blocks and two steals.

Avery Jirous chipped in with eight points, eight rebounds and led the team with four assists.

In the men's game, Spencer Willman led the Raiders with 17 points and six rebounds.

Joe Francis added 11 points and sophomore Jovante Jones scored nine points and led the team with three steals.

The men's team (4-4) is back in action on Nov. 28 at Northwood University.  The women's team (3-3) takes on Kuyper College at Little Caesars Arena on the 29th.
