Grand Rapids, MI. – The #7 seeded GRCC Women's Basketball team will travel to #2 seed Mid Michigan Community College on Tuesday, March 6^th for a 7pm Region 12, District G first-round game. The winner will advance to play the winner of the #4 Lake Michigan College vs. #5 Lansing Community College on March 9^th in Port Huron, MI.

During the regular season the Raiders (13-13, 6-10) played the Lakers of Mid Michigan (21-3, 14-2) to two very competitive games. Losing by an average score of 7 points. The Raiders expect strong games from their leaders, Sophomore Makayla Beld and Freshman guard Hallee Breimayer and will need them if they Raiders hope to take down the #2 seed.
