Box Score Grand Rapids, MICH – Mid-Michigan improved to 7-1 in MCCAA West play last night downing GRCC's women's basketball team 64-62. The Lakers rallied from an 18 point first half deficit behind the second half efforts of Julie Justin's 9 points and Summer Ward's 5 assists. Justin finished the contest with 15 points to lead the Lakers in scoring.

Makayla Beld led the Raiders offensively with 16 points each. Beld added a team high 12 rebounds, 2 blocks and 2 steals.
Hallee Breimayer led the Raiders in assist with 9 while adding 11 points.
Mya Jordan finished with 9 rebounds, 8 points and 2 blocks.
Mid-Michigan and Muskegon are tied for first in the West ahead of 6-2 Ancilla College and 6-2 Lake Michigan.
With the loss, the Raiders are 3-5 in conference play holding 4
th place as Lansing's 4-4 Stars hold third.
Next up for the Raiders is a road game against the 2-6 Jets of Jackson College. GRCC's women tip off at 1PM with the men following at 3PM.
