GRCC Women's Basketball took on the Aquinas College JV and came out ahead 25 points, the largest spread so far this season.

The game started out as a close one and both teams looked like they might be in for a fight for victory. With about six minutes left in the second period the Raiders were only ahead by one point, 25 to 24. At that moment, the jets kicked in and GRCC did not look back, ending the half 35 to 26. By the 4^th the spread would be 29 points and the Raiders took home the victory, 73 to 48.

Standouts of the night were Hallee Breimayer  with a double double, 22 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Mya Jordan had 12 points, Madelynn Miller and Kenzie Omness both had 11. Claiming the paint was Aaliyah Sargent with 11 total rebounds. The team shot .909 from the free throw line, .500 from beyond the 3 point line, and .375 overall.

The Raiders are now 6-2 overall and play their next game this Saturday against Mott CC at Aquinas College Sturrus Sports and Fitness Center.
