Box Score Grand Rapids, MICH – Men's basketball improves to 9-3 overall after picking up their first conference win over Jackson College 89-84. Sophomore
Curtis Davison again led the Raiders, this time with 37 points, shooting 13-of-25 from the field making 5-of-12 from behind the arc. Davison added two steals and an assist in the win over the Jets.
Samuel Ryans finished the night with a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Ryans was 6-of-7 from the field while sinking 3-of-4 from behind the arc.
Anthony McIntosh led the team in steals with 3 and added 13 points.
Zachary Pangborn finished the night with 11 points.
Gregory Robinson finished the game with 9 points and 9 rebounds.
Jackson was led by Jagger Surface in scoring with 17 points, but several players recorded double digits in scoring with two others, Devaughn Munson and Jermayne Golidy, finishing
with double doubles.
As a team the Raiders shot .451 from the field and .346 from three-point land to Jackson's .416 and .129. Jackson out-rebounded the Raiders 53 to 47 and had a better percentage from the line at .545 to GRCC's .485.
The Raiders travel to Muskegon Community College this Saturday for a 3:00PM tip off against the 3-8 Jayhawks.
