Box Score Lansing, MI. -- The Grand Rapids Community College Women's Basketball team lost to Lansing Community College in Lansing on Wednesday night 61-51.

Makayla Beld finished the game with 14 points and 9 rebounds.
Maddie Albert had a season high 13 points, along with 6 rebounds.
Emily Pendred and
Allazae Lloyd both chipped in 8 points a piece, Pendred also grabbed a team high 10 rebounds on the night.

LCC was up 35 points with 1:10 left in the 3rd quarter. GRCC put up a fight in the fourth quarter outscoring LCC 22-3, but it wasn't enough to come out with a victory.

"It's a young group that is still learning that it takes 40 minutes to win," said head coach Dave Glazier. "As a core group they do the right things, we just have to figure out how to execute the whole game."

The Raiders shot just 32.7 percent from the field, while LCC shot 40.7 percent.

GRCC's next matchup is against Glen Oaks Community College at the Ford Fieldhouse on Friday, February 10 at 5:30 pm.
