Box Score Grand Rapids, MICH – The GRCC women's basketball team improves to 4-3 as
Hallee Breimayer led the Raiders to a 69-37 win over Cornerstone JV finishing the night with a team high 16 points. Breimayer added 6 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 assists.
Makayla Beld finished the game with 14 points and a team high 7 rebounds while
Mya Jordan added 10 points, six rebounds and three steals.
Claire Flewelling led the team in assists with 6 while adding three steals and 6 rebounds.
Cornerstone's Ally Richards and Casey Korte combined for 22 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Golden Eagles.
GRCC shot 38% from the field to CU's 27.5% and decisively won the battle in the paint out-rebounding CU 52 to 38. GRCC committed 11 turnovers to CU's 28.
GRCC's women next face Calvin College's JV team on December 4
th at 5:30PM at the Ford Fieldhouse.
The Raiders visited Calvin earlier this week taking a 46-73 loss shooting just 24% from the field.
