Box Score 2 Grand Rapids, Mich – Grand Rapids Community College's men's and women's basketball teams close their regular seasons with losses to Kalamazoo Valley as the women lost 50-67 and the men 78-94.
GRCC's women were led
Danielle Harrison who finished the night with a team high 14 points and 12 rebounds. Sophomore
Stephanie Stevens scored 11 points and led the Raiders in assists with three.
Kayla Rosinski led GRCC in steals with 3.
K-Valley's Mallory Sewell led her Cougar squad with 20 points and 12 rebounds while adding three blocks and one assist. Brooke Martin's 13 points were the Cougar's second most on the night.
GRCC's women will enter the NJCAA District G Tournament 8-8 in MCCAA play while 9-15 overall facing a 9-7 Muskegon Jayhawk team on their home court on March 4
th at 7:00PM
GRCC's
Courtney Hill led the Raiders against the Cougars with a team high 17 points and four assists.
Cameron Burhannon trailed Hill in scoring with 15 while recording a team high 7 rebounds.
GRCC's men head to NJCAA District 9 Tournament play now 10-6 overall and 17-9 overall and host Lansing Community College on March 4
th at 7:00PM. Lansing is 9-7 in MCCAA play while 17-12 overall in 2014.
