Box Score Centerville, MI –GRCC'swomen's  basketball team fell short against Glen Oaks Community College this past Saturday losing 38-46.

The loss leaves the women's squad 6.5 games out of first behind #1 Lake Michigan (11-0) and tied for fourth with Muskegon and Kellogg Community Colleges.

Now 4-6 in conference play and 5-13 overall, GRCC's women are preparing for to host 11-9 Muskegon Community College on Wednesday night at 5:30.

At Glen Oaks GRCC's women struggled to develop any rhythm.  While they allowed the fewest points scored this season, they too scored fewer points than in any game in 2013-14 resulting in a 38-46 loss.

GRCC shot just 6-of-26 from the field in the first half and started the second half down 16-24.  While outscoring the Vikings 24-23 in the second, the margin wasn't enough.

Danielle Harrison led the Raiders with a team-high 10 points and 11 rebounds.  Stephanie Stevens trailed with 9 points and 6 rebounds.

Glen Oaks was led by Courtney Moore and AuZhane King who combined for 25 points and 16 rebounds.
