Tonight's matchup against LCC should prove to be tough for the Raiders as the Stars have established themselves as contenders in the West with a solid 3-2 conference record while 11-6 overall. th in NJCAA DII.
Lansing is led by sophomore guard LaTonya Shade. Shade is delivering on average 17.2 points, 5.2 boards and 3.4 assists per game. More remarkable is that Shade is boasting those numbers while averaging only 22.4 minutes per game.

Lansing's men's team has found less success on the court this year compared to the Lady Stars, but are still a formidable opponent at 2-3 in the West and 12-6 overall. The Stars have lost three straight to Ancilla, Lake Michigan and Kalamazoo, but have given the Raiders trouble on the road in the past.
Lansing is led by sophomore forward Devlin Bell who posts an average of 21.9 points and 11.3 rebounds per game while adding 1.9 assists and 2 steals on average.
Bell is supported by guards Jeff Cain and Tracy Edmond. Cain has posted 17.2 points per game with 3.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists. Edmond, a freshman, is shooting 62% from the field this season for 19.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game.
Forward Nate Lafayette's 12 points and 8.1 rebounds per game come with a team-high 64.9% field goal percentage.
While their record is not stellar, it is certainly nothing to scoff at. Lansing's talent makes them a tough matchup for any team making the trip to the capital city.
GRCC's women's contest tips off at 5:30PM and Head Coach Tracy Little is going to need to see great numbers out of her team's leaders
Danielle Harrison and
Stephanie Stevens.

GRCC's men take to the court at 7:30. The Raiders have won three straight but must recieve peak performance from sophomore
Courtney Hill and freshman
DeMarkus Stuckey. Hill's 11.8 points and 2.1 assist per game have allowed the Raiders much success as Stuckey has matched his performance adding 14.8 and 3.3 in the same categories.
