Box Score Grand Rapids, Mich – GRCC's women's basketball team falls to 0-6 in 2013 after a close 50-56 loss to the Davenport University Panthers' JV team.  Winless this season, GRCC rests at the bottom of the MCCAA West's standings.

The Raiders were led in scoring by freshman Sara Karamol who went 6-of-11 for 12 points.  Karamol added nine rebounds, two assists and three steals in 34 minutes of play.  Danielle Harrison grabbed 10 rebounds while scoring four points of her own. Alyssa VandenBerge added eight points for the Raiders with seven rebounds.

As a team GRCC struggled allowing 31 turnovers while shooting 9-of-33 in the first half and 7-of-27 in the second for a .267 average. 

Davenport was led by Alexis Burbol.  Burbol recorded 12 points, nine rebounds and four steals.

GRCC next hosts Delta College on December 11^th  at 5:30PM.  Delta currently rests atop the MCCAA East with a 5-1 record.
