Grand Rapids, MI – Grand Rapids Community College’s Raider basketball teams hit the road for the fourth consecutive game traveling to Centerville, MI Saturday for a doubleheader.
GRCC’s women’s team hopes to extend their win streak to two following their win over Kellogg Community College on Monday. Now 1-1 in MCCAA West play and 3-8 overall, the Raiders face a Viking team that holds the bottom spot in the MCCAA standings at 0-3 in league play and 5-11 overall.
Following the women’s game, GRCC’s 19
th ranked men’s team will take on the NJCAA DII’s sixth ranked team. The Vikings boast a 14-1 overall record and remain undefeated in conference play.
The Raiders hold a 8-4 overall record while 1-1 in MCCAA West play following their loss to now 4-11 Kellogg Community College.
GRCC’s men will need to overcome some significant momentum as Glen Oaks is riding a 12-game win streak—the longest in the MCCAA.
Saturday’s contests commence at 1PM for the women’s game, and 3PM for the men’s game.
