That said, the stats were impressive nevertheless.

The win propels the Raiders into the NJCAA District 8 Championship against Jackson CC.  Jackson upset the MCCAA West's #1 Lansing Stars 89-67 to earn a shot at the District Title.

When the Raiders faced the Jets in the regular season they split the games as the Jets took the first contest 78-67, and the Raiders won the second 85-84.

Tomorrow's contest should be no walk in the park for either team.

"Jackson is a well coached, athletic team that presents us with some tough match ups," said coach Carnegie.  "Two weeks ago we went down there and won at their place at the buzzer.  They're going to have a bitter taste in their mouths.  We're enjoying this win, but getting focused on Jackson."

Tomorrow's NJCAA District 8 Championship game begins at 1:00pm at the LifePlex in Plymouth, IN.
