Grand Rapids Community College’s Women’s Basketball team loses to Jackson Community College 55-101. The Jets’ explosive offense was too much for the Raider to handle during the contest January 21, 2011. GRCC’s Raiders were led by Hailey Majewski who came off the bench to score 14 points with 9 rebounds. The Jets were led by Guard Caitlyn Owens with 21 points, 14 rebounds and 2 assists. Despite her outstanding individual effort, the Jets collectively earned the win while every player on their roster played, as the Jets substituted 5 players at a time, and only one went without scoring. The Raiders play next at home on Friday, January 28th at 5:30pm against Lake Michigan College at the GRCC Ford Fieldhouse.
