Grand Rapids Community College’s women’s basketball team defeated by Glen Oaks Community College 49-33. The Raiders stand at 3-11 overall and 0-4 in the MCCAA West. The Raiders were seemingly unable to gain any momentum during their loss to the Lady Vikings Wednesday night. The starting five combined for a total of 16 points, 16 rebounds and 19 assists. Leading the Raiders was 5’5 sophomore guard Megan Loveberry who finished the contest with 7 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 5 steals. The Vikings were led by forward Caprice Lee with 19 points, 12 rebounds, and 2 assists. The Raiders play the Muskegon Community College Jayhawks at home at the Gerald R. Ford Fieldhouse this Friday, January 14th, 2011 at 5:30pm.
