Feb. 14, 2026, PLYMOUTH, Ind. – The Grand Rapids Community College basketball teams split their conference doubleheader on Saturday, as the Raider women fell 49–36 while the men rallied for a 104–96 win over the Chargers.
Women's Game — Ancilla 49, GRCC 36

The Raiders dropped their second straight but remained in second place in the conference standings at 18–8 overall and 7–3 in league play. Ancilla improved to 14–10 (6–4) and moved into fourth place.
Ancilla jumped out to a 17–9 lead after the first quarter, but GRCC closed the gap before halftime thanks to a dramatic buzzer-beating half-court shot from Harmonie Belton that made it 23–22 at the break. The Raiders continued to battle and trailed by just two entering the fourth quarter, but were held to only two points in the final 10 minutes as the Chargers pulled away.
Sophia Wozniak led GRCC with 12 points, six rebounds, and two steals. Belton added nine points on 4-of-8 shooting, while Averi Peot contributed six points along with team highs of nine rebounds and three steals.
Men's Game — GRCC 104, Ancilla 96
The Raider men extended their winning streak to four games and remained alone in first place in the conference at 19–6 overall and 9–2 in league play. Ancilla dropped to 3–24 (0–11).
Playing shorthanded without two of their top five scorers, GRCC showed resilience after trailing by as many as 11 in the first half. The Raiders surged late in the period to take a 45–42 halftime lead. The Chargers regained momentum in the second half and led by as many as seven, but the Raiders answered each run.
After the ninth tie of the game at 81–81, Matt Richards delivered the decisive sequence with an and-one basket that put GRCC ahead 84–81 with 6:11 remaining. The Raiders never trailed again.
Nate Keil led the way with 25 points on 9-of-12 shooting, including 3-for-3 from three-point range, and added seven rebounds. EJ Bowman posted 20 points, eight rebounds, and a game-high 11 assists. Richards, last week's conference player of the week, recorded a career-high 19 points and a game-best 16 rebounds, including seven offensive boards. Gaden Muxlow and Jared Demoff chipped in 11 points apiece.
Both Raider teams return to conference action Wednesday, Feb. 18, on the road at Glen Oaks Community College.
