Lansing, MI – GRCC’s Raider volleyball team was far too much for the Stars of Lansing Community College last night as they breezed past them 3-0, 25-9, 25-15 and-25-9, in a remarkable 51 minutes.  That win leaves GRCC at 14-1 overall and 2-0 in the MCCAA West.

GRCC’s Nicole Czehowski led GRCC in kills with 7, but several other Raiders posted some spicy numbers along with her.

Kaitlyn Wolters led the team in assists with 22 while punctuating her performance with 12 digs and 6 kills.  Kourtney Wolters finished with 6 kills and 7 digs.

With the upcoming weekend off, GRCC will next face Kellogg Community College Tuesday September 18^th at 6:30PM.  Kellogg’s Bruins are currently 2-1 in MCCAA-West play following wins over Jackson and Lansing Community College and a loss to Kalamazoo Valley.

GRCC will have the opportunity to improve their win streak to six while Kellogg could move one game closer to the .500 mark overall when the teams finish on Tuesday night.
