Box Score Grand Rapids, MI -- Following their first round bye, Grand Rapids Community College's #2 nationally ranked Raiders were too much for #8 Vincennes' Trailblazers as they took them out 3-0, 25-16, 25-15 , 25-17 in the opening round of the NJCAA Region XII District F tournament.

Molly Maynard led the Raiders in kills hitting .556 with 11;  Amy Vander Wal trailed with 8.

Hannah Geelhoed led the team in blocking with 2 solos and 5 assists.  Kaitlyn Wolters contributed 22 assists in the Raiders win.

The win brings GRCC to 33-1 overall and advances them to the next round where they face off against Sinclair Community College at 2PM.  Sinclair enters the game 29-4 with their most recent win following a 3-0 win over Muskegon Community College.

The winners of the both the District E and F Tournament will advance to the NJCAA Division II National Tournament hosted by Owens Community College in Toledo, OH.
