Toledo, OH--After an impressive start to the 2011 Owens Invitational, GRCC's Raider volleyball team ends their six game winning streak in four sets to talented Parkland College team.  The young Raider team battled, but couldn't contain the Cobras losing 23-25, 27-25, 19-25 25-18.  "Parkland was a hard working, scrappy team.  We made some young errors, but this loss will teach our freshman how to work through these things", said Head Coach Chip Will.  Despite the loss, the Raiders still have a chance to leave the tournament on a winning streak, when they face Oakland Community College later tonight.  According to Will, "We're disappointed about the loss, but it will make us a better team. We're going to move on and get ready for Oakland."
