Grand Rapids, MI—GRCC’s Raider football team is now 2-0 after a decisive 65-12 win over the West Michigan Tigers. The Tigers were the first to strike as quarterback Daniel Silva connected with Jason Ketchum on a 35 yard touchdown pass early in the game, but the night belonged to the Raiders.
Altogether the Raiders accumulated 368 yards of total offense led by quarterback Cody Kater who went 13-18 for 192 yards and 3 TDs and Korey Ringer who rushed for 93 yards on 9 carries with one TD. The Raider’s defensive line played exceptionally well holding the Tigers to only 15 yards on the ground.
