Grand Rapids, MI—The Raiders volleyball team opened the 2011-12 season on a very high note. The team went 3-0 in the Raider invitational and had wins against Alpena Community College, Mott Community College, and Indiana Tech JV.

Perennial rival Kalamazoo Valley Community College also posted a perfect record at the competition, while Mott went 1-2, Alpena went 0-3, and Lansing went 2-1. The Raiders play next on September 2 when they travel to Toledo for the Owen’s Invite.
