After two season with the Grand Rapids Community College Raider football team Brandon Newbern, the 6-4 205 pound wide receiver, has signed with Illinios State to continue his football career as a Red Bird. Newbern finished the 2010 season with the Raiders with 11 receptions for 248 yards with one touchdown.
