Kendra Austin begins her fifth year as an assistant volleyball coach at GRCC. Kendra was a star basketball and volleyball player at Fremont High School before earning a full ride athletic scholarship to play volleyball at Central Michigan University.  The 2011-2011 season will be Kendra's 7th year coaching with head coach Chip Will. She began her coaching career as the JV coach at Forest Hills Northern under Will.  Kendra is a first grade teacher at Valley View Elementary in Rockford and is married to Troy Austin. They are expecting their first child in late July 2011.
