Coach Chip Will begins his 15th season as the head coach of the Grand Rapids Community College volleyball program. Prior to his time at GRCC, Chip was an assistant coach at Grand Valley State for 4 years, head coach at Forest Hills Northern for 4 years and West Catholic High for 3 years. 

Coach Will has enjoyed success on the court throughout his career. While at Grand Valley, the team went to 3 National Championships and 1 Final Four.  Will led the Forest Hills Northern to 3 District Titles and in 2007, lost in the Class A state championship game. 

This success has continued at GRCC, as the volleyball program has won 10 Regional and 9 Conference Championships. The GRCC volleyball program has gained a reputation as a top 10 team nationally as they have made nine national tournament appearances, with one National Championship (2012), since he began his career at GRCC.

Will has witnessed numerous players transfer to four year schools on athletic scholarships and has had 10 players earning athletic NJCAA All-American honors.  

Chip lives in Grand Rapids with his wife Tracy and children Logan and Harper. Coach Will also works for the Michigan Volleyball Academy as a Master Coach.
