Working under coach, Kelly McKwen has taught me a lot in terms of coaching and the administrative side of things. Playing professional basketball in Europe for thirteen years has been a great personal, social and basketball experience. This opportunity has help build a philosophy which came from playing in different countries and playing for different coaches.
At Oakland University Taylor was a two time All-American under Greg Kampe before taking his career to the European circuit where he played for 13 years. He also had a NBA tryout with the Minnesota Timberwolves in 1994. Taylor, a native of Grand Rapids, MI, graduated from Wyoming Park High School.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from OU (1993) and master’s degree from GVSU (2010).
Taylor is married to Megan and has two kids Braylon and Kamryn.
