Angel Chan

Chan will be entering her second season as an assistant for the Raider Women’s Basketball program. Before coaching at GRCC, Chan was a four-year varsity basketball player from Wyoming Park where she earned All-State honors twice scoring 1,432 career points. After highschool Chan continued her athletic career at Central Michigan University. While at CMU she shot 82.3 from the line and had 171 career threes, 2nd in school history, with 92 in her senior season. She was the 18th player in school history with over 1000 points, received All-Mac honorable mention, and was the first ever CMU player to be invited to the NCAA Slam Dunk and Three Point Contest where she took 5th place.

Chan earned her B.A. from CMU majoring in Child Development and minored in Youth Studies. She is currently attending Grand Valley State University where she is pursuing her Master’s in Social Work.
