Janna was the starting pitcher at GRCC for 2 years (2006 and 2007) before eventually attending and playing ball for Rochester College on the eastside of the state.

While at GRCC, Little helped the Raiders to 67 total wins, including a 24-6 mark at home, and two 2nd place finishes in the conference.  In her freshman year she was named to the All-Conference 1st Team (8th in voting).  In her sophomore year she not only was named to All-Conference 1st Team (6th in voting), but also was named to the All-MCCAA (State) and All-Region XII teams.  After her last game in a Raider uniform at the Regional tournament, Little was named to District E All-Tournament Team.

After GRCC, Little transferred to Rochester College with teammates Cora Miller, Ashleigh Inman, and Rachel Fix.  She played just one season (2008) for the Warriors and batted .440 with 6 homeruns.

Prep: At Spectrum Community School, she was named Athlete of the Year in 2002 and 2004.  Her basketball team played in the Provincial playoffs and soccer team played in the Provincial championships.  Her softball team was the City Champions in her senior year.... Academically, Little was the Valedictorian of her class and also picked up the All-Around Student of the Year award during her junior and senior years.
