Bruce Vanden Beldt begins his 7th season as the head coach of GRCC’s Men’s Golf Team in the fall of 2014. In the years under Vanden Beldt, the Raiders have earned 39 tournament wins and has led the Raiders into the national spotlight year after year. Under VandenBeldt the Raiders finished 3rd in 2009, 5th in 2010, 9th in 2013, 9th in 2014 and 7th in 2015.
Vanden Beldt is a Zeeland, MI native. Following highschool at Zeeland, VandenBeldt earned his B.S. from Central Michigan University where he was a four-year letter winner on their Men’s Tennis team. He lives in Zeeland Michigan with his wife of 39 years, Sue.
Together Bruce and Sue have two children, Jeff, the head golf pro at Winding Creek Golf Course, and Kristen, a research scientist at the Van Andel Institute. Jeff and Kristen's families have three children of their own , Piper, Bo and Annie.
