TJ Carnegie begins his fourth season as head coach at Grand Rapids Community College. In three season Carnegie has an overall record of 59-31 and is 7-5 in postseason play having earned two trips to the NJCAA DII National Tournament.  

Before coming to GRCC, TJ spent 10 years as the Head Coach of his Alma Mater Grand Rapids Catholic Central High School.  As a high School coach, Carnegie won over 120 games, numerous District, Regional and Conference Championships. 
 
Coach Carnegie graduated from Albion College in 1997 with a degree in Economics and Management.  During his career at Albion College TJ scored over 1000 career points and captained the Briton Basketball team his Junior and Senior seasons.
 
Away from coaching TJ enjoys fishing and golfing and works as a Storage Sales Manager for a local technology company.
