Coach Rasmussen has been coaching high school and college baseball for over 30 years.
While coaching high school he coached for 7 years at Ottawa Hills, 1994-2000. 9 years at Grand Rapids Catholic Central 2000-2009 and 4 years at Forest Hills Central. 2014-2017. During his time in High school he won 10 league titles, 4 district championships, 1 regional title and in 2003 he guided Grand Rapids Catholic Central to a State Runner-up championship.
From 2009-2014 he was the pitching coach at Aquinas College. This will be Coach Rasmussen’s 5th year as assistant coach with the Raiders.
He is married to Cindi and has a son Sam, 19, a freshman at Michigan State University. On June 2nd, 2020 he lost his daughter, Molly to a swimming accident. She was 16 years old. She suffered from epilepsy.
