Women's Basketball Scholarships Available

Below you will find general athletic scholarships that basketball student athletes are eligible to receive, as well as sport-specific award opportunities. Make a donation to a GRCC Foundation athletic scholarship fund.
 

• Bos (John) Scholarship - This scholarship can be awarded to student athletes who compete for at least one GRCC athletic team and maintains MCCAA eligibility. Selected based on academic record, involvement in school, recommendations from coaches, and athletic ability.

 

• Edwards (Don) Scholarship - This scholarship can be awarded to a full-time freshman student athlete, with preference given to a Grand Rapids Public Schools graduate.Must have financial need and at least a 2.5 GPA. This scholarship can be renewable for sophomore year if the athlete still meets the criteria.

 

• GRCC Athletic Grant - This scholarship can be awarded at the discretion of the Athletic Director.

   

• Hunsberger (Gordon) Scholarship - This scholarship can be awarded to a student athlete who is a physical education major or minor.

• Mehney Family Scholarship - This scholarship can be awarded to a female and a male student who participate on one of the following sports teams: baseball, basketball, golf, softball, or volleyball. This scholarship can be renewable.

 

• Milhaupt (Thomas) Memorial Scholarship - This scholarship can be awarded to a men's or women's basketball student athlete with financial need and/or special circumstances who has demonstrated exemplary effort and character.

 

• Pagnelli Family Scholarship - This scholarship can be awarded to a full-time student athlete pursuing a degree in education. Preference given to student athletes with leadership and athletic potential, have at least a 2.5 GPA, and demonstrate financial need.

 

• Peters (Greg) Scholarship - This scholarship can be awarded to a student athlete who is a Physical Education major or minor.

 

• Steele (Harold) Scholarship - This scholarship can be awarded to a full-time student athlete who exhibit leadership and sportsmanship, both on and off the field.

 

• Sullivan (Rob and Tim) Scholarship - This scholarship can be awarded to a Grand Rapids metro-area high school senior who participated in athletics during their senior year. The student is not required to participate in athletics while at GRCC.

 

• Tiesinga (Marcia) Scholarship - This scholarship can be awarded to a student athlete who maintains full-time student status and completes the season of competition that the scholarship is made for.
