History of Success

diverse group of young women in cross country uniforms

The Raiders women's cross team has been a part of the MCCAA Conference and the NJCAA since 1983.  The first ever Women's NJCAA National Championship was in the fall of 1976 in Farmingdale, New York.  In 1993, the Raiders retired both men and women's cross country, but both programs were added back during the 2014-15 school year.

In 2020 the NJCAA added back a DII level to which the Raiders then competed in at nationals. In the 1991 and 1992 nationals the Raiders were also DII.

Since 2016, 35 Raiders have participated in the National Championships, including the entire team for four straight years from 2019-2022.

The Raiders have had six All-Americans, including Hillari Kirsch (1991, 1992), Stephanie Thomas (2017), Kiah Becker (2020), Audrey Meyering (2020, 2021, 2022), Kaylee Scott (2021, 2022) and Anna Tubbergen (2023).  For a complete list of all individual post season awards, click here
