The Raider women put together a dominant wire-to-wire performance, defeating South Suburban 78–52 to improve to 10–3 on the season and extend their win streak to four games, including Friday's opening-round victory in the tournament.

GRCC built a comfortable lead throughout the afternoon and pulled away in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Bulldogs 25–8 over the final 10 minutes. The Raiders led by as many as 28 points in the contest.

Despite being outrebounded and posting a season-low 34 rebounds, GRCC made up the difference with elite shooting and defensive pressure. GRCC also capitalized at the free throw line, going 21-for-25 (84 percent).

Sophomore Tianna Daye, the Raiders' leading scorer on the season, bounced back in a big way after being held to a career-low two points on Friday, pouring in 25 points on 7-of-13 shooting, including 4-of-7 from three-point range, and a perfect 7-for-7 at the line. She also had a game-high four steals.
