WOMEN'S BOX SCORE

Nov. 8, 2023, BENTON HARBOR, Mich. – Tianna Daye led the Grand Rapids Community College women's basketball team to a 70-56 victory at Lake Michigan College on Wednesday.

In the later game, the men's basketball team suffered its first loss of the season, 90-71 to LMC.

Daye finished with 24 points on 8 of 17 from the field, 4 of 8 from downtown and a perfect 4 of 4 from the free throw line.  She also had seven rebounds and a team-high three steals.

Aaliyah Ratliff had 18 points, eight rebounds, a team-high five assists and two blocks. Kaylie VanDerHulst had nine points and eight rebounds.

The men's team (3-1) was led by Darrell Belcher who scored 20 points.

Both teams will participate in the North Central Michigan College tournament this Friday and Saturday in Petoskey.
