Box Score The #10 ranked GRCC volleyball team faced off in a rematch with the Vikings of Glen Oaks CC (25-21, 23-25, 25-19, 25-15). This match is coming off of the Raiders 5 set, point for point rally, against Lansing CC. Tonight's match showed the Raiders were quick to recover from last week's loss and were ready for action. Ending Glen Oak's 4 game winning streak and bringing their conference record to 5-5.

On the attack, Kendra DeJonge led the charge with 19 kills over 51 total attacks followed by Danielle Johnston with 16 kills over 37 total attacks and Breanna Wickerink ended the night with 10 kills and 23 total attacks. GRCC's total hitting percentage was .232

Autumn Severn lead the team in assists with 37 followed by Jamie Wellet with 12. The libero of the match was Katelynn Kietzman, who led the defensive front with 21 digs and chipped in 2 aces. DeJonge had 19 digs followed by Johnston who had 15. Kayla Salyer had a team high of 7 blocks on the night. The GRCC Raiders improve to an 11-2 overall record and 8-1 in the MCCAA. The Glen Oaks CC Vikings fall to 14-8 overall and 5-5 in the MCCAA.

The Raiders host the Raider Challenge this weekend. Bringing over 10 teams together in two days of competition. Following the Raider Challenge the team battles #20 Muskegon CC (16-8 overall and 9-1 MCCAA) on their home court Tuesday, October 2^nd.
