Sandusky, OH—GRCC's baseball season comes to close after falling to Kalamazoo Valley Community College 6-8.  The Raiders lost their first game in Region XII play to NJCAA #6 Lansing Community College 4-7, but rallied for a 5-4 win over Macomb Community College for the chance to play against KVCC the following day.  KVCC's Cougars went up 2-0 in the second and didn't look back as they went up 7-1 after 6.  GRCC knocked in four runs in the 9^th but could not close the gap before the final out.

With the win Kalamazoo advances to face NJCAA #2 Kellogg at 12:00PM on May 18^th while Sinclair and Cuyahoga square off in a battle of the unbeaten teams.

One of the four remaining teams will be crowned this season's Region XII Champion and advance to the NJCAA Division II National Tournament in Enid, OK starting on May 26^th at David Allen Memorial Ballpark.
