Grand Rapids, MICH – GRCC Baseball visited Calvin College JV yesterday leaving with two decisive wins—17-2 and 8-1. With the win, the Raiders improve to 13-15 overall and remain 6-2 in MCCAA play.
Alec Lockwood went 2-for-3 with 3 RBI—two coming from a 3
rd inning homer, with two runs scored.
Alec Overbeek finished 1-for-2 with a triple, two walks, and an RBI.

John Corey and
Calvin Syrjala each recorded a double in the outing.
Brady Paganelli took three walks.
Nolan Hamilton (2-1) earned the win for the Raiders pitching 4 innings while allowing 6 hits, 1 earned run, 3 walks and 6 strikeouts.
Joe Stranz earned his second save of the year with a three inning showing that where he
allowed no hits, while walking 3 and striking out 7.
Calvin's Micah Berlage took the loss for the Knights. Six pitchers visited the mound for the Knights in the contest.
In the second game the Raiders were led by Calvin Syrjala and Brady Paganelli. Syrjala finished the game 2-for-4 with 1 RBI recording a double and a triple. Paganelli went 3-for-3 with 3 RBI and one homer.
Josh Greiffendorf (1-0) earned the win for the Raiders. Griffendorf pitched 5 innings allowing 3 hits and no runs with 4 strikeouts.
Logan Fleming closed the game allowing 2 hits with 1 earned run and a walk while allowing 2 strikeouts.
Calvin's Tyler Meyer took the loss for the Knights. Meyer pitched two innings allowing 3 hits and 1 earned run while striking out 2. Four other pitchers made appearances for the Knights.
