Physicality was a big part of the game played tonight as contact with the court was almost heard just as much as contact with the basket. Staying focused on the game plan kept GRCC ahead 40 to 35 at the half. Adjustments to the tough play were made after half and the Raiders stood strong scoring an additional 50 points and walking away with the victory.
4 Raiders hit double digits with Camren Spicer leading the team with 17 points. Sammie Ryans had 15 points, Ike Kanu finished the night with a double double, 12 points and 13 rebounds, and Diego Robinson had 14 points. The Raiders out rebounded the Saints 52 to 31 and shot .514 in the second half and .468 for the game.
The Raiders last game of the 2018 part of the season will be on the road against Grace Christian University JV this Friday at 5. The teams last meeting left the Raiders with a 96-87 victory. Following that game, the Raiders will start the New Year and MCCAA Conference play at Mid Michigan College in Mt. Pleasant on January 3rd.
Keep up with all the Raiders action!
