Box Score Kalamazoo, Mich – GRCC's #13 ranked volleyball team will head to the Owens Express Invitational with a 3-0 record following a win over Kalamazoo Valley Community College last night.

Ally German led the way for the Raiders with 6 kills on 12 attempts with one error for the team's high .417 kill percentage. 

Kendra DeJonge recorded a team high 7 kills adding 6 digs while Hannah Stearns added 6 kills and Lauren Helsen finished with 4. 

Both Lauren and Hannah finished the night with a solo block.  Stearns lead the team 4 total blocks.

Peyton Helsen and Lauren Helsen combined to lead the team in digs with 8 each. Lauren's 3 services aces were the team high on the night.

GRCC will have a couple days to improve before heading to Toledo, Ohio to compete in the Owens Express Invitational where they'll face off against two NJCAA Division II top 5 teams in #1 Parkland and #4 Catawba.  The Raiders will also face #12 McHenry and Wallace-Dothan—who received votes in the latest top 20 poll.

Tournament play commences Friday, September 1^st and GRCC will first face Wallace-Dothan at 1:30PM.
