Box Score Grand Rapids, Mich – GRCC's Raiders evened out their overall record to 19-19 with and 8-1 win over Aquinas College JV yesterday as Andrew Bojas picked up the win pitching four innings for GRCC.
Four other Raiders, Dakota Smith, Trent Idema, Michael Casterline and Seth Stephens each visited the mound for GRCC with Idema recording the sole strike out for GRCC.

Aquinas' Zach Barnes too the loss pitching 2 innings allowing 6 hits and three earned runs while striking out four.

Seth Stephens finished the game hitting 3-of-3 with one run scored and 1 batted in.  Cameron Brayman went 2-for-4 with 1 run and 1 RBI.  Austin Anderson went 2-for-2 with two RBI.

The Raiders finished the contest with 14 hits and one error to Aquinas' 13 hits and 4 errors.

Next up for the GRCC is a trip to Muskegon, MI to face the 11-9 Jayhawks on April 28^th.  The two teams will battle again on Saturday, April 29^th to wrap up that series.   GRCC is currently 13-3 in MCCAA play and second in the West.

Next week the Raiders host Calvin College's JV Knights for a double header at 3:30PM on Tuesday, May 2^nd before hosting the MCCAA West's #1 team, Kellogg Community College.   The Raiders are three games behind Kellogg and one game ahead of #3 Kalamazoo Valley at 12-4.
