GRCC will play LMC for the second time this season and the stakes couldn't be higher. The Redhawks and Raiders are tied at 7-5 in the MCCAA-Western Conference, putting GRCC and LMC in a tie for 5th place. GRCC is looking to get their second win against Lake Michigan Community College Wednesday at 7:30 pm at Lake Michigan.
GRCC is currently 13-10 overall and 7-5 in conference. They are shooting 40% from the field and averaging 80.1 points per game as a team.
The Raiders defeated Lake Michigan back in January 87-72. In that game the Raiders were led by
Jeffrey Drake-Todd who posted an impressive stat line of 30 points, 14 rebounds and 9 assists. Lake Michigan's record is 10-13 overall and just like the Raiders, the Redhawks are 7-5 in conference. Lake Michigan enters tonights contest riding a four game win streak. In the previous match-up four LMC players scored in double figures. Gavin Rasier scored 17, Brian Harris 11, Bryce Saxton 11 and Jason Walter 10.
Jeffrey-Drake Todd and Arthur Pearson have been leading the way all season for the Raiders. Drake-Todd is putting up 19.4 points per game as well as 4.1 assists per game. Pearson is posting 18.5 points per game, 4.6 assists per game, and 5.7 rebounds.
