Box Score Grand Rapids, MICH – GRCC's men's basketball team improved to 6-1 overall following a 102-79 win over Grace Bible College JV. The Raiders were led by
Curtis Davison who finished the night 14-of-26 from the field for 37 points making 5-of-13 from behind the arc and 4-of-5 from the line. Davison added a team high 6 steals.
Anthony McIntosh finished the night with 19 points and seven rebounds.
Ca'Nas Coleman earned a double-double with 12 rebounds and 10 points while contributing 2 steals and 3
assists.
Zachary Pangborn led the team in assists with 5 shooting 4-of-7 from the field and 2-of-3 from the line for 10 points.
Brady Boothe led Grace Bible with 21 points and 8 rebounds. Boothe was 7-of-13 from the field while 7-of-9 from three-point land. Deangelo William's finished with 8 rebounds, 13
points and 9 assists. Jason Long finished with 13 points. LaShawn Ellington finished with 14.
GRCC's men will enjoy a break from competition before traveling to Flint, MI on the 6
th 7:30PM contest against Mott Community College. The Raiders hosted #8 Mott on the 7
th of November taking down the Bears 88-76.
Mott's Bears are 4-2 overall having won four straight since their loss to Grand Rapids with wins over some highly competitive programs--#11 Lansing, Lake Michigan, Muskegon and Owen's Community College.
GRCC's women's team will get the double-header started against Mott on the 6
th with a 5:30PM tip off.
