GRCC led Northwest's Raiders 10-3 after 7 innings.   In the 8th GRCC's Jalen Cox hit a fly to center field to score will Harris for GRCC's last run of the game.  Down, but not out, Northwest poured on 6 runs in the bottom of the 8th to bring the score to within 2 before Ean Walda entered to slow the momentum and finish the contest with his first save of the season and the Raiders first win as both teams failed to score again in the 9th.
