Box Score 4 Grand Rapids, Mich – GRCC softball finished the weekend 1-3 after splitting with Lansing Community College on the road and dropping two to Kellogg Community College leaving the Raiders at 7-13 in MCCAA play while 8-20 overall.
Samantha Adams (Roscommon, MI) hit recorded two hits on four at-bats—both home runs-- in the Raiders first outing against Lansing's Stars finishing that game with 5 RBI and two runs scored as GRCC won 6-4.
Kaitlynn Enders (Buchanan) pitched seven innings allowing six hits and four runs—none earned—along with six walks and four strikeouts.

Samantha Krause (Brighton) hit two run homers and
Courtney Young (Lansing, MI)'s solo bomb left GRCC down 5-6.
Taylor Young (Lansing, MI)'s single to center field tied the game 6-6, but a Lansing double put the Stars up by one run 7-6 in the 6
th for the last run of the game.
Jessi Ramos went 3-of-4 at the plate scoring 2 runs with 2 RBI.
Olivia Wolfe (Stanwood, MI) hit 3-of-3 at the plate. Courtney Young hit 2-of-4 with 2 RBI and two runs scored.
Olivia Wolfe (Stanwood, MI) and Kaitlyn Enders pitched a combined 6 innings allowing 10 hits and seven earned runs. Enders struck out four and walked three. Kulak struck out one and walked one.
GRCC fell short in both games against the MCCAA's top team Kellogg Community College losing 2-13 and 2-10, both in five innings.
GRCC travels to Kalamazoo Valley Community College on Tuesday the 14
th to face an 11-5 Cougar team at 3PM. The Raiders return Thursday the 16
th for a pair of games against Davenport University JV at 3PM at DU.
