GRCC, while not one of the favorites to with the District, have displayed the ability to beat anyone on any given night. The Raiders have shown they have a stable of players who can take over a game in a blink of an eye.
DeMarkus Stuckey's 19.6 points,
Cameron Burhannon, 18.2 points,
Calvin Ward III, 16 points and
Gregory Fleming, 12.3 points, have led the Raiders in scoring. The fire power, however, doesn't stop there.
Michael Miller has proven throughout the season to be a sniper from three point range, while
Jeffrey Drake-Todd energizes his team with great defense and timely baskets.
The key to the game will be slowing down
Brian Harris and
Davonte Harris, KVCC's leading scorers. Davonte poured in 26 points against the Raiders on 2/23, while Brian lead the way with 21 points on 1/26.
The Raiders District 9 Tournament run begins next Tuesday (March 3rd.) at 7:00pm in the Ford Fieldhouse.
