Box Score Grand Rapids, Mich – The NJCAA's DII #2 Raiders of Grand Rapids Community College escaped a tough match against #18 Muskegon Community College with a 3-2 win after being down 0-2 in last night's contest.

Micaela Deshetsky led the Raiders in kills with 15 while recording 10 digs and 2 blocks.  Rosalyn Wyse finished with 10 kills and  9 digs.

Shelby Ruffner and Abbie Gortsema each recorded 8 kills on the night and combined for 13 blocks.

Michelle Holland led the Raiders in assists with 34 while adding 5 kills.

Amanda Glaza lead the Raiders in digs with 19 trailed by Maddie Stankus ,Holland and Michelle Holland with 14, 13, and 11 respectively.

GRCC recorded 37 attacking errors on the night and finished the five set match with a .081 hitting percentage.

The Raiders will face their next two opponents on the road as they travel to Summit Township, MI on September 16^th to face the Jets of Jackson College before heading to Donaldson, Indiana to square off against Ancilla College on the 18^th.

GRCC returns home on September 23^rd to host Kellogg Community College.
