Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Grand Rapids, Mich -- GRCC's softball team fell to 3-13 after taking a pair of losses against Davenport University's JV Panthers yesterday.  In their first game Amber Frye led the charge for the Raiders hitting 2-of-2 while scoring one and Amber Ballard scored the other lone run in the 2-7 loss while hitting 1-of-3 in the first game.  

Ingrid Kukla earned her seventh loss of the season for a 2-7 start to the year pitching 3 innings while allowing 5 walks, 6 hits and five earned runs.  Billie Jo DeLisle stepped in to pitch the remaining innings allowing 7 hits and 2 earned runs.

DU's Alyssa Nelson pitched a complete game allowing only 4 hits and two runs, unearned.

In game two GRCC continued to struggle at the plate as the team totaled just five hits to DU's nine.  The Raiders fell 2-4 with Kukla taking her second loss of the day to fall to 2-8 overall after pitching five innings with 6 hits, 3 earned runs and 4 walks.

The Raiders host Ancilla College today at 3PM in a double header.  Ancilla is 6-8 overall.
