Warren, Mich -- The GRCC men's basketball team falls to 5-2 overall after a 61-75 loss to Macomb's Monarchs over the weekend.  Their 61 points is the lowest the Raiders have recorded in 2014 and it was not the only category they struggled with as they had season lows in field goal percentage, field goals made, rebounds and free throw percentage.  The Raiders did record their lowest number of turnovers of the season with 8, despite the loss.

Leading the Raiders in scoring were Calvin Ward III (Dallas, TX) and DeMarkus Stuckey (Saginaw, MI) who combined for 34 points.  Ward also led the team in rebounds.  Jeff Jeffrey Drake-Todd (Kentwood, MI) led the Raiders in assists with 3.

Macomb's Chris Dorsey and Brandon Hicks led their team with 19 and 16 points respectively.  Dandon Johnson recorded a team high 11 rebounds for the Monarchs as they grabbed 55 to GRCC's 34.

 GRCC's men have the opportunity to get back on a winning streak tonight as they visit Davenport for a 7:30 tipoff against the JV team.
