Grand Rapids, Mich – Grand Rapids Community College braves the cold and snow tonight traveling to Kalamazoo Valley Community College to face the Cougars.

GRCC's women will take to the court first at 5:30PM.  The Raiders, 3-1 in conference play, face a 6-1 KVCC team fresh off a 58-90 loss to Lake Michigan College on January 22nd.  GRCC also took their last loss at the hands of the Red Hawks 60-78.

KVCC women are led in scoring by Selena Martinez who is posting 14 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.  Allison Kirk leads her team in rebounds per game with 6.8 while adding an additional 7 points.

GRCC's men take to the court at 7:30PM bringing with them a 3-4 conference record.  KVCC's men are 6-1 with their lone loss coming by way of Glen Oaks earlier in the month.  KVCC is a half a game out of first in the West.  GRCC holds the #3 spot 2.5 games behind undefeated Glen Oaks.

Kalamazoo's men are led by Jevonte Hughes and Tyler Oliver averaging 14.3 and 12.9 points per game respectively.  Oliver adds an additional 5.1 rebounds while Hughes adds 8.2.  Jaylen Larry leads the Cougars in rebounds with 8.8 per game.  Devonte Harris leads the Cougars in assists per game with 4.

This is a must-win road game for both GRCC's teams as they push for top spots in the MCCAA West.
